Get to know it
Willowmere sits where the water meadows soften into the Test Valley, twenty-six acres of old willows, mown paths and slow green river on the edge of one of Hampshire's prettiest corners. Thirty-eight single-storey homes will stand here when the last one is sited; more than half the land — the meadow, the bank, the two big greens — stays exactly as it is, for good. Kingfishers most mornings. The good bench, always free by ten.
Life at Willowmere
Every Dreeym community keeps the essentials — The Hearth, a guest suite for family, a workshop, allotments, EV charging — and then adds what the land suggests.
The social heart
The Hearth at Willowmere keeps a long oak table, a log burner and the best noticeboard in the Test Valley. Coffee on Wednesdays, fish tales on Fridays, carols in December. Attendance always optional.
The grounds
We started with the land: the willows were pollarded the old way, the bank replanted with flag iris and loosestrife, and the wildflower meadow is cut once a year, after the seed drops. The river does the rest.

Out and about
A flint church, a farm shop that takes orders, and The Mayfly on the water — walkable for lunch, staggerable for supper.
The Test Valley’s little capital: butcher, baker, bookshop, trout in the high street stream. Market on Thursdays.
Twenty-five minutes to the cathedral, the Christmas market and direct trains to London in just over an hour.

The straight answers
The rest — the law, the ledger, the 10% rule — lives in the Open Book.
The pitch fee is £195 a month, reviewed once a year and pegged to CPI — it covers the grounds, the greens and The Hearth. Council tax is Band A (about £117 a month). Utilities are metered. The full worked ledger is in the Open Book.
Dreeym does, outright — no head leases, no third parties. You own your home and licence your plot under a written Mobile Homes Act 1983 agreement you’ll see before paying a penny.
Please. There’s a fenced dog meadow, towels at the gate, and eleven resident dogs who’d like to meet yours.
You sell on the open market; 10% of the price goes to Dreeym — the industry-wide rule, capped by law, explained properly on page one of your agreement and in the Open Book.
